Copley Girls Cross Country falls 50-15 to a very talented Highland team. Leading the way for Copley was Senior Arwyn Pitts who finished 6th overall with a season-best time of 22:48. Senior Virginia Williams was the second Copley girl to finish, placing 7th overall with a season-best time of 22:52. Also scoring for Copley were Junior Missy Deptowicz (9th overall) with a season-best time of 22:59, Junior Thara Douglas (10th overall) with a time of 23:41, and Junior Natalia Rodriguez (12th overall) with a time of 23:44. Copley host Aurora on Saturday, October 10 at Copley High School to finish up the regular season.
