The boys basketball team clinched their second consecutive Suburban League (American) championship on Friday night, with the win over the visiting Highland Hornets. The Indians improved to 18-0 on the season and 10-0 in SL action. Brian Roberts scored 22 points and grabbed 5 steals, while KeShawn Hill provided a lift off the bench with 15 points. Sam Emich stuffed the stat sheet with a huge double double, going for 15 & 16 and Jacob Williams chipped in 9 points and three steals. Austin Brenner scored just 3 points, but was a catalyst all over the court, as usual, with 9 assists, 7 boards, and 5 steals. The win moved the Indians consecutive regular season win streak to a remarkable 43 games. The Indians head into the Canton district tournament draw on Sunday with eyes on strong postseason run.
